First day of Preschool...

Eric was so excited when we walked into his new school! I asked him if it was okay for me to leave and without thinking about it he said "bye mom." I was thinking as I was walking out the door that I was doing well, and not crying well...no sooner did I think that did the tears start welling up in my eyes. Ethan and I went down to the mall until we needed to pick Eric back up. When it was time to pick Eric up, he kept telling me about the things at school and that he had fun! His teacher Ms. Hamlin said "Eric did a great job!" I'm so relieved, he can't wait until school on wednesday! Here are some pictures of our school boy!

The Washer...

So Andrew and I were playing a video game for chores (we do that every so often.) Andrew wanted to switch to a different game, so we headed down stairs and on the way down I heard Eric calling me. I walked into his room but didn't see him, so I turned around and started to call to him, but happened to see him sitting in the washer, so I called Andrew and grabbed the camera; as Eric is asking for help to get out. Here is the little man in the washer... oh and by the way he went pee in the washer earlier this week ( thank God for the sanitary cycle!)

I love this outfit and was glad to see we were going to have a rainy cold august day so I could put Ethan in it. It's so snugly warm and Ethan loves to give us lots of hugs! Let me know if you think they look alike... Eric's picture is 1st and then Ethan's picture

Ethan's Birthday Party!

We had a great no frills party...Ethan was particular when eating his cake, but that didn't last for long! Ethan got great gifts and I can't believe he's already 1! We celebrated the day after Ethan's real birthday, and it was perfect weather for an outdoor party.

He's not even 1 yet! give him a few days

Well, Ethan is just under a week from being 1 and he is busy! Today he learned how to climb onto the couch to get to the remotes or our phones. He's walking more on his own and standing w/out help from anything! Where does the time go?







A quick walking picture!

Fun on Hood Canal

I packed our car up will everything I thought I'd need for a long day by the water and after church we headed to Hood Canal. Eric had fun walking in the water, looking at sea~shells and riding in boats of all kinds! Ethan just hung around, he got a few swings and spent time w/ his favorite Auntie and Uncle (they just returned from missions for the past three months!) Eric was able to go on his first speed boat ride and said he wanted to drive the boat, but couldn't at the time. As we were headed back to the dock Eric fell asleep on Nunnie's lap, and missed his chance to drive the boat...next time. We missed Daddy who couldn't get the day off, but he enjoyed the stories and pictures. Now we'll share with you, enjoy!

The Malave's Wedding Reception

The reception was wonderful, we missed the ceremony due to traffic on the Tacoma Narrow's bridge. The wedding was on Hood Canal at the family's house. We had a great time at the reception and here are a few photo's from the lovely event!
