Milton Days...

Last weekend I took Eric to "Milton Days" a city right up the hill from us. Ethan was spending time with Nonnie (Andrew's mom,) and we wanted to do special things with Eric. So at Milton Days there was a parade (which has a ton of candy,) a place for kids to catch two fish (catch and release) and free lunch, and tons of fun things to do. After the Milton days Andrew and I took Eric for the first time to the "Rainforest Cafe." All Eric wanted was the thunder and lightin' storm! Not knowing that at 3am we would have our own live showing of thunder and lightin'.

Soccer started last night, this is Eric's first sport! He did really well following direction and he only picked up the ball twice! Here are pictures from the "little scrappers" first practice!

Baseball Game

Photobucket

Andrew was able to take Eric to his first baseball game. Fun stories (you will have to ask Andrew about!) I would have had these up sooner, but our camera died right after the game and we just got it back (two weeks later.)

Official Welcome Home!!!!

So last night Andrew and I were invited to go welcome the 54th Military Police Company home from Iraq, Brian was one of them! Brian has been gone for 15 months. It was cool to experience, from watching the plane land to seeing the family members watching their loved ones on a screen, to watching them walk in formation, to the sea of solders wrapping themselves in the arms of loved ones and the tears that followed, and saying "thank you, job well done, Welcome home," to those who had no one there to greet them; I just feel honored to have seen that in person. Brian we are so proud of you and we love you... WELCOME HOME
