More creativity...
I saw a sign similar to this on Etsy.com, they wanted $50 for it... I looked at it and said "I can do that!" So for around $11 I finished it today. I used an 11x14 canvas, the pink paint we used for her bedroom walls, the ribbon is leftover from the ribbon mobile I made a few weeks ago, the white and green paint cost about $5 total. I'm so glad I took art lessons when I was a kid or else I would have felt overwelmed and would have ended up paying the $50! I am almost done with all the projects for Abbey's room, then the boys want me to make a sign for their door (which I Love doing!)

Pregnancy has a strange affect on my creative brain!!!
I saw this idea off etsy.com and thought I can do that! So here's my version! I gathered coupons to Michael's and since you can use their coupon's at Jo Ann's I hit four stores in one night to get this done! I got home and started without instructions (sight only) on this idea; I started this lovely project at 9pm. At 2:30am Andrew came into the room and said "are you coming to bed." At that point I couldn't see straight and was feeling a little queasy, so at 3am I climbed into bed. I put in two more hours in this morning, ending this project at right around 8 hours. I am very happy with the out come of the mobile, and pray that Abbey likes it as well!

I saw this flower at bath and body works just after finding out we were expecting again, it was only $3 so I saved it in the hopes of making a hair bow out of it! It's amazing what a clip and a little hot glue can do!

White Thanksgiving????
I don't think we have ever seen a White Thanksgiving before! Schools were closed the monday before because of the weather making a very long Thanksgiving break. Our family dinner was pushed back until saturday due to the weather, so Andrew and I decided to take the boys sleding! We had a great time laughing and just being the 4 of us!

Out with the old, In with the new!!! updated
Instead of paying an arm and a leg to either get a new rocking chair that would match Abigail's room or use my sewing skills and "try" to recover it myself. A scary task all it's own! I chose to save a lot of money and attempt it. I do have to thank a few people; April for the use of your sewing machine and Ketra for saving me some money on thread! And with the cost at around $50 I did this! I have to say I'm very impressed and proud of myself!
I took this...

And turned it into this!

I had some left over fabric, so I made burp cloths!

It wouldn't be November without a wind storm or a flood!
Last night our wind storm hit with no warning... 60 mile per hour winds. Our lights flickered and luckly we didn't lose power when over 100,000 did. Schools were delayed due to power outs. Then the double whamy we had a 4.2 earthquake at 7:51am. It was about 45 miles south of where we live. It knock the house like someone was pushing the house, and just when I thought maybe we should get in a door way it stopped. You would never know this afternoon that all happened, It's Beautiful out now!

saw this tree down near our house on our grocery shopping run!

Halloween w/ the Pommers
Early in october Eric really got into the super mario brothers game, so I ran with that idea. I had no problem finding the mario costume for Eric but had to order Ethan's online. We had a great night and the rain held off until an hour after we were done trick or treating! The costumes should fit the boys next year, so depending on what little Pommer is hiding in my tummy we will just add to the Mario theme... either the toad or the princess!
