Giving Kisses, Blowing Kisses

I have been blowing kisses to the boys when walking out of their rooms at bedtime and finally Ethan has started blowing kisses back! Here's a video of him giving mommy a kiss and blowing a kiss to all of you!

Rock Band

Patty and Anya came over last night, and we rocked out on "Rock Band!" Patty tried everything, drums, guitar, bass, and singing! We all took our turns on different things. Rock On!

Today I dropped Eric off at preschool and headed to Costco for diapers. While there Ethan was strapped into the cart and has been turning around in the cart. Well, I turned to grab the box of diapers and in the 3 seconds I had my back to him, he had worked his way out of the strap and had fallen into the back of the cart. He was wailing and had a big ouchie. He's just fine now and thank God he didn't fall onto the concrete floor! Hey you have to count your blessing somewhere.

So long 2007, Hello 2008

I'm glad to say we are happy to see 2007 go! Even thou 2007 brought a lot of heartaches and tests for our family, we survived! Andrew and I were greateful to Papa (Andrew's Dad) for coming over and watching the boys so we could enter in the new year with Andrew's cousin's at a party!

Christmas at the Pommer's

By far this has been our best Christmas! We were blessed by our family (and that inculdes our surrogate family.) My thankfulness and love for all these people is overflowing; I love you all and thank you for loving our family the way you do!
We took Eric and Ethan to our church's Living Nativity tour, and all Eric wanted to see was baby Jesus, even saying I want to give him a birthday present. I love hearing Eric say what the real reason for Christmas, and he proudly says "JESUS!" Andrew and I enjoyed seeing Christmas through the eyes of our children! We hope you have a blessed Christmas and a very peaceful New Year!

Eric turns 4

Oh my goodness, I am a mother of a 4 year old! Eric had his party today, on his actual birthday and could not have been more excited! We had friends from church, preschool, our playgroup, Eric's Godparents, and Uncle Scott and Auntie Diane from Texas (visiting for the holidays!) Eric got a lot of cool toys and he likes them all!
