Spring Snow... are you kidding me?

Even though we didn't get much it was nice to open the blinds and watch the snow fall. Andrew and I have been sick all week and so I have been able to lay on the couch and see the white snow fall on the fresh spring ground. I love the snow, but it's almost April, come on now! Our poor spring plants are mostly thinking what the heck is this cold white stuff, I need sun!

Mom's night out.... NO hubby's, NO kids

We have been planning a night away, and we pulled it off. We stayed at a hotel on 1st ave just two blocks from Pike Place Market. We walked around and window shopped and tried not to talk about our kids; but failed most of the night! Thanks to everyone who helped in anyway to make this night possible for us. We had a blast and brought a ton of memories home with us!

Webkins...

Aunt Karen gave these cool stuffed animals to the boys on a recent trip up from Texas. They are interactive on the computer and is really good for Eric to build his skills! Soon after Ethan got his Koala bear I realized that is a human koala bear and that is now my nickname for him! Thanks Aunt Karen!

Eric named his webkins "Jack"

Ethan (well mommy did) named his webkins "Cubby"

Proud Parent Moment!!!

Photobucket

So for almost a month I have had to help Eric at preschool sign his name in. Another mom asked me if I wanted traceable connect the dots in Eric's name so he could practice. I said "of course!" So he did it for a few days and then we put it aside and just picked it back up today at breakfast. Once we got to preschool I dotted out Eric's name and he didn't ask me for help and wrote his name under the dotted name above; and you could actually could read "Eric!" I was so happy and proud of him. I made sure he knew how proud of him Daddy and I were! My little boy is turning into a big boy, now the tears start welling up in my eyes. Just wanted to share our proud parent moment!
