Grocery Game

OK so I have a few friends that do this, and I just didn't think it was all that it's cracked up to be. Well I got a lesson in it this past Sunday, and I'm amazed! I went to the store today spent $110 and saved $77. My cart was full and I'm still shocked by it. For those who think it's not worth the time, I think now more than ever this game is vital for our family! Thanks to Dana for showing me how this works! Here's the web site www.thegrocerygame.com

Happy Shopping~

Random stuff!

Visits:
John and Andrea: came after the new year, we love it when they come it's a lot of games and laughter! John found a new friend this year. Ethan and John played under the blanket for almost an hour. And in the morning Ethan asked for John; it was adorable!

Patty: came over to use our front loaders to wash comforter's after the holidays. She read books and played with the boys. Then we did some girl things after Eric went to school. Little did we know that the next story would unfold within an hour of her leaving!

Evacuations: The Puyallup River January 7Th 2009
Now... I don't think anyone can really understand what this feels like unless you experience it. It really is a bit traumatic (for me at least) and really surreal. All 700 homes from our neighborhood left almost at the same time and we all got stuck for a long time... in the pouring rain... lights, sirens, police, fire trucks surrounding us. We all left our homes and our belongings not knowing what we would return to.
Little info for you... The river this time of year is usually at 12 or 13 feet deep. It floods at 30 feet. Major flooding is at 31 feet and the record is 34 feet. It was predicted to get up to 36 FEET people!?!

Christmas Pommer style...

Since the snow pushed back Andrew's side of the family from Christmas Eve to the Sunday following Christmas. This year we went to Wanda's and had a great time! The chicken pot pie was to die for and so was the company! The boys got some cools toys. Here's some photo's from that evening.
